Bethel College is seeking a Full-time Assistant Men's Basketball Coach. The assistant men's basketball coach must be committed to the College's mission of Christ-centered higher education. Responsibilities include coaching, a pastor's heart, discipleship/mentoring, recruiting, scheduling, supervising assistant coaches, graduate assistants and student workers, budget management, travel arrangements, program promotion, and ensuring program compliance with the NAIA, the Crossroads League, and the NCCAA. Additional duties will be evaluated based on the candidates skill set. The assistant men's basketball coach is also responsible for encouraging the student-athletes in their spiritual, academic, athletic, and social development. Qualifications: An earned Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred) and three years of demonstrated ability to teach the techniques, rules, and strategy of basketball. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required, as are written and verbal communication skills; valid driver's license is required and willingness to work evenings/weekends; working knowledge of computers including Microsoft Office and web applications is also required.
