Summary This position is located at Office of the Inspector General for Tax Admin,Office of Audit. As a MANAGEMENT ANALYST, you will be responsible for a variety of highly complex special projects and staff assignments. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties, and will receive training to help you grow in this position. Independently organize and conduct studies and analyses of issues that may be either broad-based or narrow in scope. The incumbent will make decisions regarding what needs to be done and will conduct extensive probing and analysis to determine the nature and scope of any problems identified. Meet with TIGTA and or OA executives to define the overall goals and objectives of any assigned program area. Conduct briefings and prepares comprehensive reports to keep managers and executives advised of project plans and progress and to communicate findings and recommendations. Analyze new or proposed legislation, regulations, other authoritative guidance as well as changing trends and developments to determine impact on TIGTA and OA program area operations and, as necessary, develop resultant implementation plans. Specialized Experience: Specialized experience for the GS-13 is defined as one year of experience at the GS-12 level, or equivalent, that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience is defined as: Assisting with the coordination of various projects, products, and other strategic initiatives across an organization.Examples may include:- Analyzing goals and objectives of an assigned program area.OR- Analyzing activities and assisting with the recommendations to change or improve activities as conditions warrant.OR- Assisting with the development of internal operating policies, procedures, or standards for effective administration of a program area.
