BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 06 months contract to hireJob Type: Contract, [Hybrid/On-Site]Pay Range: [$70] to [$75]Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).Job Description: Title: Full Stack DeveloperLocation: Plano, TX(Hybrid)Duration: 6 months contract to hire Must have skills - same skills for all levels, differ in usage degreeJava python AWS DB experience nice to have skills Kafka No SQL finance knowledge/ banking industry experience Job responsibilities * Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems * Develops secure high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others * Identifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills * Hands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability * Advanced in one or more programming language(s) * Experience with distributed systems and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) * Experience with micro services/RESTful API, relational/NoSQL databases, data modeling and data ingestion frameworks * Hands-on experience with data streaming and messaging frameworks (Kafka, Spark, etc.) * Understanding of dependency injection frameworks (Spring / Spring Boot, etc.) Understanding of containers (Dockers, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.Benefits:BCforward offers all eligible employees a comprehensive benefits package including, but not limited to major medical, HSA, dental, vision, employer-provided group life, voluntary life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, and 401k.About BCforward:Founded in 1998 on the idea that industry leaders needed a professional service, and workforce management expert, to fuel the development and execution of core business and technology strategies, BCforward is a Black-owned firm providing unique solutions supporting value capture and digital product delivery needs for organizations around the world.
