Location: Huntsville, AL Position: Logistics Analyst Intermediate Overview: ITC is actively seeking an experienced Logistics Analyst to join our team . This position supports tasking in providing critical logistics support including readiness, maintenance, sustainment, and supportability operations and planning activities to support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Responsibilities: Provide logistics support capability and solving complex life-cycle logistics problems. Participate in the development of life-cycle logistics policies, plans, procedures, and documents. Identify and apply concepts, policies, and practices of logistics management as they apply to new and legacy systems during the acquisition and sustainment phase of the life-cycle. Experience applying methods and tools to effectively mitigate risks Including planning for risk Assessing risk areas Developing risk management options Responsible for execution and maintaining product support requirements for Government Furnished Property (GFP), transportation, Property Accountability, non-tactical vehicles, Item Unique Identification (IUID), and Communication Security mission equipment and requirements. Develop product support policies, plans, procedures, and functional direction while maintaining supply chain management metric baselines and trends. Identify and apply logistics product data to make recommendations regarding legacy/operational products and services for improvement during operation and sustainment of the life-cycle logistics phase. Demonstrate purchasing and procurement, packaging, handling, storing, and transporting, receiving and issue, and inventory management of various product support equipment, repair parts, tools, consumable items, hazardous materials in CONUS and OCONUS. Support performance, implement continuous process improvement, and assist with contract management, acquisition, planning, funding, and management information systems. Demonstrate purchasing and procurement, packaging, handling, storing, and transporting, receiving and issue, and inventory management of various product support equipment, repair parts, tools, consumable items, hazardous materials in CONUS and OCONUS. Manage demilitarization, disposal, and decommissioning activities. Develop presentations and information papers and research, analyze, and compile data into information, decisional, and instructional briefings and develop metrics to track level of effort and progress in preparation for senior level reviews and updates. Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications: Must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance. BS/BA degree in Logistics acquisition, operation, sustainment and/or related field with 4 years of demonstrated experience. AA/AS in logistics acquisitions, operation, sustainment and/or related field acceptable with additional 4 years of experience 4 years of experience providing logistics support capability and solving complex life-cycle logistics problems. Experience developing life-cycle logistics policies, plans, procedures, and documents. Be able to identify and apply concepts, policies, and practices of logistics management as they apply to new and legacy systems during the acquisition and sustainment phase of the life-cycle. Experience applying methods and tools to effectively mitigate risks: Planning for risk Assessing risk areas Developing risk management options Capable of providing expertise in Strategic Planning, Programmatic and Communication techniques and processes to support stakeholder requirements. Has specialized relevant knowledge and works as a member of team and assists with solving complex problems. Mid-level working knowledge, skills and abilities using Microsoft Office and Adobe software suites is required. Must possess exceptionally strong analytical skills to conduct planning and analysis, and trend analysis. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possess excellent communication skills, work well within a team, interact with multiple levels of management, and be able to manage customer and contractor relationships.
