Washington, DC
Description:

New America’s Planetary Politics initiative is a comprehensive endeavor aimed at fostering a more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable global order. Our program aims to address the pressing issues facing humanity using three fundamental principles: Adaptation as Power: In today's world, power no longer solely stems from traditional sources such as control of land and resources. Instead, it emanates from the ability to manage and adapt to the dynamic flows of data, money, people, and goods, as well as to navigate technological and environmental changes. Inclusive Global Governance: Effective international cooperation hinges upon the inclusion of all stakeholders at the decision-making table. Our initiative advocates for the meaningful involvement of civil society, businesses, historically marginalized communities, and representatives from the Global South in shaping global affairs. Prioritizing People and the Planet: While nationalism persists, the interconnected nature of global challenges underscores the importance of prioritizing the well-being of both people and the planet.
