CCMS is looking for childcare workers to work as Monitor/Caregiver personnel to care for Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) and Family Units (FMUA) in the Border Patrol San Diego Sector, which consists of the following locations: · Imperial Beach Station · Brown Field Station · Chula Vista Station · SSF (Soft Side Facility on Pogo Rd) *You may rotate between all four locations above Application is for this Job Location ONLY ( All San Diego Locations ) Please keep in mind that applying for this job is for this location only. Unfortunately, if you apply for the wrong site you will need to complete a completely new application.We are looking for caring individuals that are bilingual and able to communicate and care for children that are newly entering the United States. We staff 8 hour shifts 24/7 and your schedule will be distributed in advance so you will know what shifts you will be working.There is a shift and weekend differential added to the base pay rate. Full time with a benefits package including health insurance is available.Responsibilities:Caring for the Unaccompanied minors and some family units that have crossed the border. We have the responsibility of caring for them during the first 72 hours of their time in this country and are responsible for making sure they have clean clothes, food, a place to sleep and someone to treat them with respect and kindness.Experience: Bilingual in English and Spanish High School Degree or GED Citizenship or authorization to work in the US The hiring process will take at least 3 months ONCE YOUR E-QIP SECURITY DOCUMENT AND FINGERPRINTS are completed and approved for investigation, so please be sure you will commit to the time line before applying.Job Types: Full-time, PRNPay: $20.00 per hour + shift differentialsBenefits: 401(k) Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Life insurance Paid time off Holiday and sick pay Schedule: 8 hour shifts (30 minute lunch) Day shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) Evening shift (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) Night shift (10:00 pm to 6:30 am) Holidays Weekends Education: High school or equivalent (Required) Experience: Childcare: 1 year (Preferred) Language: Fluent Spanish and English (Required) Powered by JazzHR
