The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing our company's financial obligations, ensuring that our invoices, check runs, and other financial transactions are processed accurately and efficiently. This role is pivotal in maintaining our company's financial health and requires a keen understanding of AP Management, 1099, Invoices, Check runs, 3 Way Match, and Assist in Month End. If you are a seasoned professional with more than 5 years of experience in a similar role and are looking for an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact, then we would love to hear from you.Responsibilities:As an Accounts Payable Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:1. Overseeing the entire accounts payable process, including reviewing and processing invoices and executing check runs.2. Managing 1099 filings and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.3. Implementing and maintaining a 3-way match system to ensure accuracy in all financial transactions.4. Assisting in month-end closing procedures, including reconciling accounts payable transactions and preparing analysis of accounts.5. Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and suppliers, negotiating terms as necessary.6. Monitoring company expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and making recommendations for improvements.7. Providing training and guidance to accounts payable staff, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.Qualifications:To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable management, preferably within the Engineering industry.3. Proficiency in AP Management, 1099, Invoices, Check runs, 3 Way Match, and Assist in Month End.4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.5. Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.6. Strong leadership skills with an ability to motivate and guide a team.7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.8. Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.9.
