The ideal candidate will have a JD degree and at least 2 years of experience in construction contracting and development. This role involves providing transactional and litigation support, drafting and negotiating agreements, and advising clients on construction-related matters.Duties:Draft and negotiate design, construction, and development agreements across various industry sectors.Negotiate EPC contracts for extensive infrastructure and energy projects.Provide strategic advice on claims management, change orders, extra work, delay, and construction defect claims.Assist with litigation and arbitration matters, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and preparing for hearings.Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, and business professionals.Produce high-quality work products within deadlines.Requirements:JD degree and admission to the CA Bar.Minimum 2 years of experience in construction contracting and related development.Familiarity with industry form agreements (e.g., AIA).Experience in litigation or arbitration preferred.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills.Attention to detail and good business judgment.Excellent organizational and research skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Persuasive communication and management skills.Conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree.Benefits:Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k).
