About the facility A facility is seeking a psychiatric nurse practitioner for locum tenens coverage. About the facility location Be sure to hit up the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall on your assignment. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is home to some of the most historic sites as well as the classic Philly cheese steak! About the clinician's workday This position will be a three-month assignment, with the option to extend. The clinician is expected to handle typical cases such as ADHD, schizophrenia, anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. This is a full-time position, 40 hours a week, with flexible 8-hour shifts (10-6, 8-4, 9-5) based on the provider's preference. Responsibilities include initial evaluations (1.5 hours face-to-face with new patients) and medication checks (30 minutes on average). The EMR system used is Evolve. Credentialing usually takes about a month, depending on the provider's recent Child Abuse and FBI clearance status.
