Acutronic is looking for a Senior Service Engineer to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for inspection, testing, integration, installation, troubleshooting, and repair of Acutronic products. Our ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience on a Systems or Services Team and strong troubleshooting skills of electronic and electro-mechanical systems. Senior Service Engineer Your Roles/Responsibilities: Perform incoming inspections of vendor components Inspect quality of Acutronic components and systems per approved procedures Integrate the control console and rate table of one, two, and three-axis systems Install and upgrade systems at customer facilities Conduct Site Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP’s) to ensure satisfaction of customer specifications Perform in-house and field service troubleshooting and repair of equipment as required Assist in the troubleshooting of hydraulic systems Answer customer support requests via phone or email Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills: Associate of Science degree in Specialized Technology or Electronics from an accredited college or technical trade school; equivalent military training will be considered At least 4 years of experience on a Systems or Services Team, or equivalent experience, required Strong troubleshooting skills of electronic and electro-mechanical systems required Knowledge of electrical test equipment such as DVM, Oscilloscopes, Signal Analyzers, Current Meters, Frequency Counters required Ability to travel 25%, possibly more at peak times, domestically; occasional international travel may be necessary Valid Real ID driver’s license and a valid U.S. passport to be used for proof of citizenship when traveling to customer facilities We Offer: Employer-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance 401k match Company-paid holidays and Paid-Leave Time 9/80 or a 4/10 flex schedule option About Acutronic: The Acutronic Group has a proud history of building technologies and teams that are crucial to the aerospace, defense, and transportation industries.
