The ideal candidate will be responsible for drafting and negotiating principal financing documentation and possess expertise in project finance matters.Duties:Draft and negotiate principal financing documentation for project finance transactions.Advise clients on legal issues related to project finance structures and transactions.Conducted legal research and analysis on project finance matters.Review project documentation, including contracts, agreements, and financial models.Collaborate with clients, financial institutions, and other parties involved in project finance transactions.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Illinois State Bar or eligibility for admission by reciprocity.5-8 years of experience practicing law, focusing on project finance.Proven track record in drafting and negotiating financing agreements and related documents.Preferred Qualifications:Experience reviewing project documentation and identifying legal risks.Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance issues in project finance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Skills:Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.Strong time management and organizational abilities.Proficiency in legal research and drafting legal documents.Certifications (if applicable):Certification or specialized training in project finance law (preferred).
