The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Organic Chemistry or a related field and demonstrate proficiency in drafting and prosecuting patent applications.Job Duties:Draft and prosecute patent applications before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and various international patent offices.Conduct prior art searches and analyze technical literature to support patentability assessments.Collaborate with inventors, attorneys, and clients to strategize on patent portfolio development and management.Assist in patent infringement and validity analyses.Stay updated with changes in patent laws and regulations.Requirements:PhD in Organic Chemistry or closely related scientific field.Ability to think critically, quickly grasp new technologies, and articulate complex technical concepts clearly in writing.Preferably some experience in patent drafting and prosecution.Must be registered to practice before the USPTO or willing to sit for the registration exam.Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Proficiency in patent databases and search tools.Education and Certifications:PhD in Organic Chemistry or related field.Registered Patent Agent (preferred) or willingness to become registered.
