The role involves handling complex asbestos litigation matters. Below are the details of the job:Job Overview:The Litigation Attorney will manage a diverse caseload of asbestos litigation matters. This role requires strong litigation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Duties:Effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Produce deliverables, answer phone calls, and promptly reply to correspondence.Provide timely, accurate, and quality work product.Successfully meet deadlines and expectations and perform work duties as required.Foster positive work relationships and comply with all firm policies and practices.Engage in both physical and sedentary activities as necessary, including working at a computer for extended periods, participating in virtual conference calls, and attending meetings.Perform all other duties, tasks, or projects as assigned.Requirements:JD degree from an accredited law school.Active Bar Admission in California is required.4+ years of experience in asbestos litigation.Experience with taking and defending depositions.Proven ability to manage a case docket and appear in court.Strong analytical and writing skills with attention to detail.Good business judgment and excellent organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Research and problem-solving skills with conceptual thinking ability.Persuasive communication and ability to influence others.Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.Education Certifications:JD degree from an accredited law school.Active Bar Admission in California.Skills:Strong analytical and writing skills.Attention to detail and sound business judgment.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to work collaboratively and independently.Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.Research and problem-solving skills.Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others.Persuasive communication and management skills.Strong project management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.Benefits Offered:The firm provides a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) plan.
