Practice Area: Litigation - Commercial,Product Liability Defense, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 8 Years, Job Overview: A law firm in New York City seeks a highly experienced Litigation Of Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in product liability and complex commercial litigation, with a preference for those with exposure to the pharmaceutical and medical device industries.Duties:Communicate effectively with clients, lawyers, business professionals, and third parties.Supervise and mentor associates in litigation matters.Work collaboratively with experts in relevant fields.Assist in fact development and preparation for depositions.Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, motions, and memoranda.Contribute to the development of case strategies.Requirements:Minimum 8+ years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.Specialization in product liability and complex commercial litigation.Experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is advantageous.Strong analytical and writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.Good business judgment and organizational skills.Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Proficient in legal research and problem-solving.Conceptual thinking and ability to influence others persuasively.Prior management experience is desirable.Education and Certifications:JD degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic credentials from nationally recognized institutions.Additional degrees such as MD, MPH, PharmD, or Epidemiology are beneficial.Admission to practice law in New York State is required.Skills:Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently.Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.Effective communication skills both verbally and in writing.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Commitment to producing high-quality work products.Location: New York City, NYBenefits: The firm offers a competitive compensation package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance and a 401(k) retirement plan.
