The ideal candidate will be well-versed in the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure and have trial experience. This role requires a current license to practice law in the State of Colorado and involves handling a significant caseload with the support of a full-time pre-litigation paralegal and litigation support.Job Duties:Manage a caseload of 75-100 pre-litigation files and 6-10 litigation files.Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.Conduct depositions and prepare for trial.Prepare and respond to written discovery requests.Engage in motions practice and represent clients in court.Work collaboratively with a pre-litigation paralegal and litigation support staff.Ensure compliance with the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure.Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and legal advice.Conduct jury trials as required.Maintain organized case files and documentation.Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.Requirements:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active license to practice law in the State of Colorado.Proven trial experience.Knowledge of and experience with the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure.Background check will be required.Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to manage a heavy caseload effectively.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Active membership in the State Bar of Colorado.Skills:Legal research and drafting.Deposition and trial preparation.Written and oral discovery.Motion practice.Client communication and relationship management.Case management and organizational skills.Proficiency in legal research tools and office software.Benefits:Health insurance.Secondary employer-sponsored health reimbursement.Dental insurance.Vision insurance.Paid time off and sick time.401(k) plan.Life insurance.Long-term disability insurance.
