Peachtree Occupational Medicine (POM) is a full-service Occupational Medicine Clinic that was established on the philosophy and foundation of providing the highest level of patient care while maintaining robust communication with employers and patients to maintain a healthy and active work force. We are seeking physicians who can uphold these cornerstones by providing what patients value most in their Physicians - quality time spend with them; and what employers value most in their Occupational Medicine services – communication and invested partnership in keeping their workforce healthy and working. As the sister company of the acclaimed Peachtree Orthopedics, POM has unique, immediate orthopedic physician access to advance patient care and client experiences. The POM Physician is responsible for (but not limited to) the coordination and care of our clients’ work-related employee injuries, communicating with clients about employee work statuses, performing DOT and non-DOT physicals, and coordinating patient care and clinic flow with staff. The clinic also provides other work-related, medical, and screening services. Education: Board Certification or Board Eligible (MD/DO ) in either: Emergency Medicine, Family practice, Internal Medicine or Occupational Medicine Experience: 2 years (preferred but not required) Occupational Medicine clinical experience Physician leadership, experience working as part of a collaborative team (valued but not required) Certification : NRCME and DOT certification preferred Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
