The Judge Group is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for its client located in the Horsham, PA area.Title: Manufacturing Engineer Location: Horsham, PASalary: $100,000 - $120,000Responsibilities:--- Optimize work cells, equipment arrangements, and the flow of materials and personnel for peak efficiency.--- Collaborate with Production-Manufacturing, New Product Development, and R&D teams to design and develop new products and processes, emphasizing manufacturability, process validation, and a "Zero" defect approach.--- Enhance daily manufacturing operations by applying expert knowledge to improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).--- Engage in design control activities, including risk analysis (FMEA) and design reviews.--- Identify and acquire new manufacturing equipment.--- Spearhead the development and execution of equipment qualifications.--- Perform time studies and formulate cost models.--- Create work instructions and provide training to relevant team members.--- Champion and assist in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Six Sigma & Lean manufacturing, and improvements to product structure and routing.--- Assess product designs for their manufacturability.--- Direct and assist in investigations into defective products, utilizing Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective and preventative actions.Qualifications:--- Bachelor's degree, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred--- 3+ years of experience--- Injection molding or extrusion experience required
