Practice Area: Corporate - Private Equity,Corporate - M&A, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 3 Years, A law firm seeking a Mid-Level Mergers And Acquisitions And Private Equity Associate Attorney:Job Overview:The Mid-Level Mergers And Acquisitions And Private Equity Associate Attorney will be crucial in advising clients on various transactional matters, including leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, growth equity, minority investments, and related strategic transactions.Duties:Provide legal counsel on mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions.Draft and negotiate acquisition/disposition agreements and related closing documents.Conducted due diligence and assisted with transactional closings.Collaborate with partners and clients to develop strategic solutions.Requirements:3-6 years of mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactional experience.Prior involvement in representing financial sponsors and strategic buyers/sellers.Strong understanding of leveraged buyouts, sell-side transactions, and growth equity.Admitted to the Illinois Bar.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Illinois Bar.Skills:Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
