Job Overview: The primary function of the Service Technician is to deliver, install and pick up propane bulk tanks for home heat, temp heat and industrial applications. Must have CDL B and obtain hazmat. Training provided. Primary Duties: Drive necessary equipment and vehicles as required. Able to run equipment including trenching machines and truck mounted cranes. Submit all reports, special projects, daily paperwork and information in a timely manner. Exhibit good time management. Able to use handheld tablet and/or smart phone for time and equipment tracking. Perform any duties as may be assigned and operate in a constant state of alertness and safe manner. Good interpersonal and Customer Service skills. Regular and reliable attendance. Follow company quality, safety and environmental guidelines as well as employee handbook policies. Qualifications/Experience/Education: High school diploma or equivalent and 2+ years of position related experience. Basic mechanical aptitude. CDL – B with hazmat endorsement required. Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and a 7-year criminal background check. Position related certifications as needed.
