The successful candidate will hold a J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and be an active member in good standing in the Connecticut Bars.As a Senior International Estate Planning Associate Attorney, your responsibilities will encompass advising U.S. clients with foreign assets on tax-efficient structures while collaborating closely with foreign counsel. This role involves drafting U.S. estate plan documents for clients with foreign assets or beneficiaries, as well as administering estates of U.S. individuals owning foreign assets. You will also provide expertise to foreign clients on structuring investments in the U.S., including real estate acquisition and devising tax-efficient asset transfer structures.To excel in this role, candidates should bring a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in international estate planning. Your strong academic background, coupled with analytical and communication skills, will be vital in meeting client needs effectively.
