CrossFit HCP, the first and only CrossFit gym in Dade City, is looking for an additional Coach for our growing community and team!We are looking for an experienced CF coach to coach and lead multiple classes throughout the week. Class times and schedule are flexible. There is potential for growth and additional personal training ($$) opportunities!Positive energy, friendly and helpful demeanor, passion for people and CrossFit are a must!Please submit your resume, sharing any relevant experience and why you would like to join the CrossFit HCP coaching team.EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:· CrossFit Cert Level 1, USAW, NASM, Personal Training or Group Fitness experience and/or previous CrossFit experience· MUST HAVE previous CrossFit Coaching experience· Must have full understanding of and ability to teach Olympic lifts, gymnastics movements and other movements found in CrossFit, with proficiency.· Must carry a positive attitude, be a people person and have leadership experience· Strong communication skills and ability to speak with confidence in front of a group· Must walk the walk….train often, live a healthy lifestyle, be a positive role model and support for our CommunityRESPONSIBILTIES:Instruct group CrossFit classes which include general and specific warms ups, managing the flow & logistics of the class during the WOD and/or strength/accessory component and provide a cooldown/stretch after classProvide one-on-one instruction and guidance to athletes of all levels and experienceDemonstrate proper form & technique along with the movement standardsMake sure the members are safe while performing movementsProvide modifications and/or progressions for members needing to scale workouts and/or movementsOffer support and encouragement to help members achieve their fitness goalsConsultations with prospective members and assistance in sales processLight duties to keep the gym environment neat and cleanSign members in and perform basic tasks within our ZenPlanner appAdditional responsibilities may be added/adjusted based on needs.
