DETAILS OF POSITION Location: Vandenberg Space Force Base / Full-time: Saturday - Wednesday (with Thursday & Friday off) / Hours: 7:15 PM - 1:15 AM / Starting Rate of Pay: $17.20 per hour An applicant with a qualifying disability may be given preference for this position. A qualifying disability may be a result of injury, disease or congenital defect which limits the person's functional capabilities. PURPOSE OF POSITION VTC Enterprises has been supporting adults with developmental disabilities since opening our doors in 1962. Part of fulfilling our mission includes providing individuals with community experiences to develop and promote their independence.In this position, the Vandenberg Space Force Base (VSFB) Commissary Worker is responsible for custodial and stocking duties in order to meet Military Base contract specifications. For more information vis i t our website: www.vtc-sm.org Essential Functions and Responsibilities Perfect for night owls, this stocking and custodial position at VSFB Commissary needs someone who is organized, works well independently, and can prioritize when workload and demands fluctuate. Also important are common sense, attention to safety, and the ability to cooperate and communicate with the rest of the team. Experience is a plus but not required as we provide thorough training on job duties and use of equipment. Applicants must be able to meet requirements to obtain entrance to VSFB, work late night shifts for at least 6-8 hours, and be willing to work some weekends and holidays. Requirements Valid driver’s license with an insurable record. An insured vehicle available for use during employment. Must be willing and able to work up to 8 hours per shift. Must be able to work in varying weather conditions, shifts, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required.
