Check out our Benefits by clicking on the link https://benefitspricing.com/usfoods/index.html Main Ingredients of the Job!As a US FOODS-- Logistics Truck Driver you will be operating a tractor-trailer Traveling Over the road across country between our US FOODS-- distribution centers to our Vendors throughout the week to pick up and drop off bulk product. Our Logistics Truck Drivers driver 1,800 to 3, 400 miles per week focused on safety. Your efforts are the foundation that defines US FOODS-- success based on our pillars of cultural beliefs, work ethic, collaborative spirit, and service. Schedule ** Must be willing to travel and work weekends** ( Monday - Friday (Hours Vary) start times between 2am-4pm ending 1pm-1am the next day ) Great Logistics Truck Drivers are crucial to the US FOODS-- team and one of the important faces of our organization. Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery timesCarefully unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areasVerify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signaturesHandle collections and payments from customers when applicableProfessionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance our client experiencePerform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspectionPhysical Requirements Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift requiredComfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift) requiredWhat You Bring to the Table Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse* Must be at least 21 years of ageMust have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualificationsMinimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry requiredAbility to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locationsWilling to travel 5 days per week, returns home on weekendsMust be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.Why US FOODS-- ?
