Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm in Sacramento, CA, is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with a keen interest in civil litigation. The ideal candidate will possess excellent writing, oral advocacy, and time-management skills. Prior experience in a law firm setting is preferred. Candidates must either be members in good standing with the California State Bar or pending Bar exam results. Job Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis on civil litigation matters.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Assist in the preparation for depositions, hearings, and trials.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the courts.Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on case strategy and development.Manage caseload and deadlines effectively. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar or pending Bar exam results.Strong interest and/or experience in civil litigation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.Prior experience in a law firm setting preferred. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar or pending Bar exam results. Skills:Excellent writing and research skills.Strong oral advocacy skills.Proficiency in legal research databases and software.Time-management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
