This position offers the opportunity to take a significant role in complex litigation matters with a growing and supportive team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in complex commercial litigation, with a specific focus on construction litigation and employment being a plus.Duties:Conducted legal research and wrote for complex commercial litigation cases.Manage all aspects of written discovery, including electronic discovery.Take and defend depositions, including Person Most Knowledgeable (PMK) and expert depositions.Engage in mediation and trial preparations.Represent clients in court and during negotiations.Develop and implement litigation strategies.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client communications.Mentor junior associates and paralegals.Participate in firm-wide initiatives and business development activities.Requirements:Minimum of 5+ years of experience in complex commercial litigation.Specific experience in construction litigation and employment law is highly desirable.Proven track record in handling multiple facets of litigation.Strong legal research, analytical, and writing skills.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Must be licensed to practice law in California.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Member in good standing of the California Bar.Skills:Proficiency in electronic discovery tools and legal research databases.Exceptional organizational and time management skills.Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.Benefits Offered:1700-hour billable requirement, plus a transparent bonus program.Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.401k Profit-Sharing Plan.Paid Time Off (PTO).Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance.Life Insurance.Hybrid working arrangements.Free parking.Additional firm-specific benefits.Job Location:San Diego, CA
