Job Title: Communications Agent Location: Decatur, GA Department: Communications Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview: The Communications Agent will be responsible for managing internal and external communications to ensure our brand message is consistent, engaging, and effectively reaches our target audience. The ideal candidate will be a skilled communicator with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities: Media Relations: • Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and influencers.• Draft and distribute press releases and media kits.• Coordinate media requests and interviews. Internal Communications: • Create and disseminate internal communications to keep employees informed and engaged.• Develop and manage internal newsletters, announcements, and updates.• Facilitate internal communication channels to promote transparency and alignment within the organization. Social Media Management: • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.• Monitor and respond to social media interactions, ensuring a positive online presence.• Analyze social media metrics and adjust strategies as needed. Event Coordination: • Assist in planning and executing company events, both internal and external.• Manage event communications, including invitations, promotions, and follow-up materials.• Ensure all events are aligned with the company’s brand and messaging. Crisis Communication: • Assist in developing and implementing crisis communication plans.• Respond promptly and effectively to communication crises to mitigate potential damage to the company’s reputation. Qualifications:• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.• Strong understanding of media relations and social media platforms.• Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Experience with content management systems (CMS) and social media management tools.• Strong organizational and time management skills.
