Additional Information About the Role Position Highlights Positioned on various Cardiac stepdown units Full time - Monday - Friday; (5) 8hr Day Shifts Flex time available NO Weekends, NO Holidays, NO Call BSN Required PTO Accrual on first day of month after start Benefits Eligible on first day of month after start 401k with employer match/Pension* Clinical Nurse Educator needed to support various cardiac stepdown units . The CNE is primarily responsible for onboarding and orienting new staff, facilitating ongoing education for current staff, and developing and updating clinical policies and procedures. This role demands a high degree of autonomy, as the educator must be self-motivated and capable of working independently. Strong communication skills are essential for effectively conveying information and providing support. Additionally, the Clinical Nurse Educator must be a consistent presence on the units to assist and guide other nurses, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and staff competency are maintained. Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Creates and implement staff education and professional development activities and programs that optimize patient outcomes. Responsibilities Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates ongoing educational and professional development activities and programs for clinical and non-clinical areas. Collaborates with staff and representatives of other organizations to develop, present and or evaluate clinically focused training, continuing education and or professional development opportunities. Participates in activities that promote safety, quality and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with leadership to assess the educational needs of the staff and develops appropriate education plan. Participates in professional development and life long learning.
