Mailroom Processor Location: San Antonio, TX Contract Length: 6+ Months Job reference# 235567 Description: * Support operations; seek ways to improve individual work processes within established procedures.* Perform routine operational support tasks.* Regularly receive direction from supervisor and escalate questions and issues.* Interact with client personnel on basic information.* You'll learn about payment processing, and the financial services industry.* Lockbox is a high-volume, fast-paced, deadline driven production environment working behind the scenes with little, if any, customer contact.* This position is the first step in a rewarding career in financial services.* You will be responsible for receiving, preparing and distributing incoming and/or outgoing mail or packages; as well as, capturing transactions into a proprietary processing system.* Other duties may include: opening, reviewing, sorting, logging, batching, scanning, verifying or matching data on documents, performing simple data entry tasks and routine math calculations.* You will work under close supervision following established procedures.* In this role, you will:* Receive, sort, log, batch, and distribute work* Prepare and distribute incoming and outgoing mail* Utilize mail sorting and tracking equipment or system applications* Prep and dispatch outbound packages* Miscellaneous mail duties* Sort and stage incoming mail* Escalate questions and issues to more experienced roles M-F all in office hours. must be able to stand for long periods of time while shelving files in a secured location Required Qualifications :6+ months of Operations support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.PDN-9c11bc49-d85d-4dbb-a6fd-74f14378a002
