Software Engineer III (2703400)

Description:
Perform software engineering to create and modify highly complex programs, modules, routines, scripts, and data objects from a detailed design where performance, efficiency, and reliability are critical to the entire system. Develop a broad and in-depth knowledge of Staples business processes and system environment. Create high level and detailed design documents. Test, implement and maintain technical upgrades. Monitor the use and performance of systems. Develop application documentation. Identify, isolate, and resolve malfunctions related to software. Consult with IS staff and users on technical issues relating to systems and ensure compliance with IS standards, policies, and procedures. Perform source system analysis and design mapping logic between source systems and the target. Create data extraction, cleansing, and load programs to move data from source systems to the target Data Warehouse. Document and execute test plans as well as provide support to QA processes for data loading and data validation. Document and execute implementation plan to deploy data integration solutions in the Data Warehouse environment. Support code promotion process through development, QAT, and production. Develop, implement, and maintain schedule/dependency logic for automated processing. Coordinate onsite and offshore resources provided by our offshoring program partners on assigned projects. Provide second level and on-call support as necessary to Support/Operations team. Mentor other team members in design and development techniques. Troubleshoot issues in the environment. Position is fixed based in Framingham, MA office; however, telecommuting from a home office location two (2) days per week is allowed.40 hours/week, 9:00am-5:00pm.Five (5) years of Software Development experience. Experience must include: Must have 5 years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):- Java development- SQL or T-SQL Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):- Oracle Exadata Operating System Must have 2 years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):- Working in an Agile Development environment Must have 1 year of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently):- Experience with Cloud Database tools- Experience with AKS/Kubernetes, Docker, or Azure Data FactoryRequires a Bachelor?s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Software Development, or a directly related field Please copy and paste your resume in the email body do not send attachments, we cannot open them and email them at candidates at placementservicesusa.com with reference #2703400 in the subject line.Thank you.
