Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Read and understand all customer standardized test method documents. * Perform physical property testing within corporate polyurethane quality lab according to the customer standardized documents. * Maintain, control, and ensure accuracy of test data. * Monitor and ensure testing is performed within Temperature and Humidity control. * Update testing matrix daily to note completed testing. * Maintain 5S and housekeeping in the lab area daily. * Maintain sample and test fixture inventories. * Follow all lab safety practices. * Participate in ISO 16949 & A2LA (ISO 17025) system improvement activities, including but not limited to audits and Proficiency Testing. * Participate in Gage R & R studies on lab equipment. * Participate in equipment verification. * Participate in Quality Planning meetings when required. * Be a self - starter; to complete all work orders in a timely manner. * Abide by all EH&S requirements. * Comply with company and departmental rules, policies and practices. * Communicate with team members and supervision on all issues, concerns, updates, etc. * Perform all roles & responsibilities as defined by the BOS policies & procedures. * Perform other duties deemed necessary by the Quality Engineer/Manager or UTC ManagerEducation & Experience Required: * High School Diploma * 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment. * Knowledge in Microsoft Applications: Excel * Willingness to learn and be trainable.PRIMARY LOCATIONCentral Tech Unit Plymouth MICOMPANY INFORMATION: Adient is a global leader in automotive seating.
