The ideal candidate will possess strong decision-making and communication skills, demonstrating a keen interest in land use and related areas of law such as real estate, zoning, and environmental law.Duties:Provide legal advice and representation to clients on land use, zoning, and environmental matters.Navigate clients through obtaining permits to ensure compliance with regulations and requirements.Conduct legal research and analysis on land use issues.Draft legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and permits.Represent clients in administrative hearings and court proceedings related to land use and zoning disputes.Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop strategies for land use projects.Stay informed about changes in land use regulations and laws.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in New York.0-2 years of experience in land use, zoning, or environmental law preferred.Interest in land use and related areas of law such as real estate, zoning, and environmental law.Ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.Strong decision-making and communication skills.Ability to work independently with limited oversight and prioritize tasks effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in New York.Skills:Decision-making and communication skills.Legal research and analysis.Drafting legal documents.Client relationship management.Strategic thinking and problem-solving.Time management and prioritization.Collaboration and teamwork.Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.Job Location: White Plains, NYBenefits Offered: The firm offers benefits such as a 401k, Medical, Dental, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and more.
