Here's an overview of the job:Job Overview:The Mid-Level Entertainment Advertising Associate Attorney will counsel clients in the entertainment industry, particularly in advertising, marketing, intellectual property, and data privacy matters. This role requires extensive experience in transactional law, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Duties:Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various transactional agreements within the advertising and marketing ecosystem.Researching, analyzing, and providing strategic counsel on compliance matters related to advertising, marketing, promotions, and social media.Counseling clients in connection with advertising, trademark, and copyright disputes.Advising clients on data privacy and security compliance matters and handling related agreements.Conducting due diligence and research to support transactional and compliance matters.Managed client relationships and communicated effectively to develop tailored legal strategies.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Active Bar membership in good standing in Illinois or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.4-6 years of experience as a transactional associate in a law firm setting.Significant experience in advertising, intellectual property, and/or data privacy.Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.Meticulous attention to detail.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Aspires to partner and views the role as a career-defining opportunity.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active Bar membership in good standing in Illinois or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Skills:Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.Meticulous attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Excellent communication and client management skills.
