The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of commercial litigation experience, with a strong desire to specialize in Higher Education law. Admission to the Florida Bar is required.Duties:Conducted legal research and analysis on complex commercial litigation cases, particularly in the higher education sector.Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.Represent clients in state and federal court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, and trials.Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client management.Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and judicial officers.Manage discovery processes, including document review and production.Requirements:4-6 years of commercial litigation experience.Strong focus or interest in Higher Education law.Admission to the Florida Bar.Excellent academic background with a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Florida Bar.Skills:Exceptional research, writing, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.Previous Higher Education experience is a plus.
