Additionally, the ability to manage and grow client relationships and a portable book of business would be advantageous.Duties:Negotiate and draft correspondence and agreements related to labor and employment law.Provide consulting and advice to employers regarding employment law compliance and best practices.Handle all aspects of employment law litigation, including drafting pleadings, conducting depositions, and representing clients in court and other administrative or governmental employment oversight settings.Manage and develop client relationships.Utilize strong analytical, writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.Requirements:6+ years of experience in labor and employment law.Strong background in negotiating and drafting employment-related agreements.Proficient in providing counsel to employers on employment law compliance.Extensive experience in employment law litigation, including drafting legal documents and representing clients.Ability to manage and expand client relationships.A portable book of business is a plus.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the Michigan State Bar or eligibility for admission.Skills:Labor and employment law expertise.Legal negotiation and drafting.Employment law compliance.Litigation skills.Client relationship management.Analytical thinking.Strong written and verbal communication.
