Plant Manager(Union Facility)Working closely with the Sr. Director of Operations, the plant manager will work to effectively manage, train, mentor, and instill best practices as a servant leader, while challenging the status quo of traditional plant management.You will strive to innovate and foster new progressive strategies that bring the plant to the next level.-- You will lead by example and find opportunities to disrupt average standards in place, in favor of change agents for continuous improvement.-- This is a position where you can, and will voice your opinion, create action plans, and implement new systems that positively affect the facility.Responsibilities:The Plant Manager oversees the full site operation at the plant.-- Cheese & Dairy Ingredients are manufactured hereThis position is responsible for creating a culture of safety and for achieving year over year operational improvement with regards to safety, quality, service, value, and teamwork.-- Your best practices will be leaned upon to foster these goalsThis individual will work as a member of the Manufacturing Leadership Team and contribute to the Co-Op's success by continually improving manufacturing processes.-- The plant manager will continue to create a culture of engagement that empowers employees to achieve performance metricsEstablish operational strategic plans that align with and deliver the business strategyEnsure and maintain a culture that aligns with the standards of the company's mission, values and purpose and work cross-functionally with other departmentsDevelop talent to prepare your team for future assignments in order to create a strong pipeline of future leadersTechnical Qualifications:Bachelor's degree desirable in Business, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology or similar.-- Associates with deep industry experience will be consideredPlant management of 5 years leading teams, open to Assistant plant management from larger facilities that can demonstrate track record of successUnderstanding of managing union and non-union employeesHACCP, PCQI, sanitation, food safety, and employee safety protocols at the plant level highly preferredPrior dairy experience ideal but will see candidates from other food segmentsLEAN manufacturing practicesBudgeting and operations experienceStrong leadership and ability to be change agent as a strong voice in leadershipExcellent communication both verbally, in person, and in writing**If you'd like to hear more about this opportunity and others we are currently working on, please contact Damon Wickmann at dwickmann cps4jobs.com.JO:-- 150.24DW#LI-DM2--
