The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on regulatory analysis and policy advising related to the Medicaid program. They should possess a deep interest in complex regulatory and policy questions concerning Medicaid, with a passion for supporting projects aimed at enhancing access to affordable, high-quality health care services. This role offers the opportunity to engage with a multidisciplinary practice and tackle challenging issues in Medicaid law. Duties:Conduct regulatory analysis and provide policy advising related to the Medicaid program.Support projects aimed at enhancing access to affordable, high-quality health care services.Engage with all facets of the firm's multidisciplinary practice.Provide written and verbal communication to legal and lay audiences on regulatory analysis and policy matters. Requirements:2-4 years of health care regulatory experience, including coverage and reimbursement.Demonstrated experience in Medicaid issues such as coverage, reimbursement, managed care delivery systems, or section 1115 demonstration projects.Strong interest in and willingness to learn about Medicaid, particularly regarding the federal Administrative Procedure Act.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong attention to detail and legal research abilities.Effective problem-solving capabilities and ability to work independently.Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction. Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Bar membership in good standing in the jurisdiction. Skills:Regulatory analysis and policy advising related to Medicaid.Legal research and analytical skills.Written and verbal communication for both legal and lay audiences.Attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities.
