Practice Area: Litigation - General (consumer), Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 1 Years, A law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney for their Morristown, NJ office. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for independently managing a litigation caseload, conducting depositions, preparing witnesses for deposition and trial, and supporting trial preparation. The ideal candidate will possess superior research and writing skills, experience with motion practice and depositions, and be admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York. Duties:Independently manage a litigation caseload.Conduct depositions.Prepare witnesses for deposition and trial.Review and analyze discovery requests.Prepare and respond to discovery responses and pleadings.Prepare court filings and service to counsel, including experience with e-filing.Trial preparation and support.Maintain accurate time records. Requirements:Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.Admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York.1+ years of experience.Experience with motion practice and depositions.Experience taking lead in plaintiff and expert depositions.Superior research and writing skills. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Admission to practice in New Jersey and New York. Skills:Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload.Strong deposition and trial preparation skills.Excellent research and writing skills.Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing discovery requests.Experience with court filings and e-filing.
