Volt is immediately hiring for Sr. Warehouse Associate? in Long Beach, CA.As a Sr. Warehouse Associate? you will: * Assigned to work in any area of the Warehouse such as Receiving, Material Handling, Shipping Parcel or Shipping LTL, Inventory. * Unloading/Receiving Deliveries via Parcel or LTL. * Processing of goods through ERP/WMS Barcode Scanner and Computer System programs. * Accurately pulling Material for Production Work Orders or Order Requests through WMS Barcode Scanner. * Constant loading/lifting/staging of material including long periods of standing, up to over 55lbs. * Creating Picking Inventory with RF Scanner, Packing in Boxes or on Pallets * Ensuring freight deliveries are unloaded accurately. * Restocking Inventory / Labeling * Inventory control and cycle count rotation. * Supporting in proper training for new hires / temporary staff is completed * Identify system or process issues and communicate to Lead, Supervisor, Management. * Support department leads in promoting positive productive work environmentThis is a full-time opportunity Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm open to overtime.The ideal candidate will have Mandatory Skills: * High School Diploma or GED Required * Minimum 2 Years of previous Warehouse, Distribution or 3PL experience Required * Strong understanding of Warehouse Material Flow (Receiving, Material Handling, Shipping, Inventory) * Prior experience in a leadership position, preferred. * Excellent work ethic, friendly team player * Previous Forklift Experience Required * Ability to lift /push up to 55lbs +/-. * Previous ERP and/or WMS preferred (Netsuite / High Jump a PLUS!) * Microsoft Office experience such as Word, Excel and Email required Pay Rate: $21.00 per hour*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
