MyDogHikes is a New York-based Dog Hiking and Dog Walking service that allows canines to explore the wilderness outside of the bustling streets of New York City. We are searching for another pet lover to join our team! Currently, we are searching for a Driver to come on board. Let’s find out if you would be the flawless fit for our Pawsome dog-loving team!We are looking for experienced hiker who has knowledge about dogs and who loves the outdoors. Candidates who not only meet our requirements but to enjoy themselves, it’s not every day that you get to explore the outdoors with a city pup by your side! JOB REQUIREMENTS: Be a dog lover, obviously! Have a driver license Have excellent communication skills and be kind to others Time management skills are necessary. Have experience working with lots of dogs of all types, breeds, and temperaments Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team Must have a smartphone Be able to be on your feet for long hours. Dog walking is not a New York City marathon but it is a physically demanding job. Our pups are always the best moral support and great company to keep you happy and moving! PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: A positive attitude Be honest and trustworthy Be respectful and kind to others Be flexible and patient Good communication skills with the dogs’ owners and their dogs Ability to adapt quickly and make decisions Love for working with dogs!
