Description: Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner (Early Career) for our Arlington, TX location (DFW area). Job Description: Works in the Production, Planning and Controlorganization as a Scheduler, Make, Buy or Bill ofMaterials (BOM) Planner. Coordinatesinterdepartmental activity with quality assurance,manufacturing, purchasing, engineering,inventory control, traffic, contractsadministration, etc.; schedules and expedites themovement of parts by means of move orders,stock transfers and requests for shipping orders.Requires travel and/or communication to allproduction sites and vendor locations. Workoutside of the normal operating hours may berequired. Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related discipline from an accredited college or university.Must be a US citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.Demonstrated proficient knowledge of computersystems, databases, and programs Desired Skills: Inventory Control and material handlingknowledgeExperience with material requirements andDock/Receiving/Warehouse/Shipping areas.Ability to understand engineering drawings andparts listsKnowledge of Material Management andAccounting System (MMAS)Familiar with lean manufacturingDemonstrate strong analytical, problem solving,and multitasking skills Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
