Job Description: Med Surg RN needed 7a-7:30p at Samaritan Medical Center located in Watertown, NY RN should be comfortable Floating to Med/Surg and PCU Night Shift, 13 week assignment, possibly longer Traveler must hold CURRENT NY license. Cornary Care experience needed as well Traveler should have completed at least 1 successful traveler assignment. First time travelers will NOT be considered. Previous Samaritan employee's have to be gone at least 2 years and be eligible for rehire to be considered. (Contact facility for inquires) Permanent residence of traveler must be at least 60 miles away. Guarantee 3 shifts per week or 6 shifts bi-weekly. BLS and ACLS required. PALS a plus! Meditech experience a plus! *Guaranteed Hours are Bi-Weekly** The facility schedules in two week periods. 72 hour biweekly guaranteed for 12 hour shifts (OT begins after 72); It may or may not be split evenly between the two weeks. **Work Week** The facility's work week is Thursday to Wednesday. We are located in northern NY where lakes, rivers and the Adirondack Mountains are a short 25 mile Position Urgency: Quick Start Shifts: Days 7a-7p (every other weekend schedule) State License Details: Must Be Currently Active Minimum Years of Experience: 2 Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 36 Specialty Type: Nursing Sub Specialty: Med-surg Adult General Certifications: BLS/BCLS Bilingual: No EMR Used: No Listing Holiday Coverage Required: Yes
