About the Role The essential functions of this job include but are not limited to: Using hand/power tools, working with roller systems, and lifting 50-75 lbs. regularly and overhead. The ergonomics of the position would be bending, crouching, twisting, and standing on his feet all shift (8-10 hours). There is an opportunity to become forklift certified. Once certified you would be operating a forklift, loading/unloading trailers and helping in the shipping department. Skills needed: Basic mechanical skills Use hand/power tools Ability to lift 35-55 lbs., regularly overhead Ability to lift 50-75 lbs., occasionally overhead Ability to bend, crouch, twist and stand on his/her feet all shift (8-10 hours) Simple math Ability to read a tape measure Good hand eye coordination Punctual Ability to work well with others Safety oriented Positive attitude Dependable/ Reliable Self-motivated Honest/ Trustworthy Ability to understand and take direction well Ability to communicate in English both orally and written in order to communicate effectively CANDIDATES OFFERED EMPLOYMENT ARE REQUIRED TO PASS A PRE-EMPLOYMENT DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK PRIOR TO EMPLOYMENT.
