Overview We are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with expertise in creating automated testing scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software solutions to join our team contingent upon contract award. As an SDET, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks and scripts to validate the functionality, performance, and scalability of our applications. Responsibilities C ollaborate with software development teams to understand product requirements and design comprehensive test plans and test cases. Design, develop, and maintain automated testing scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Appium, and JUnit, to ensure thorough test coverage. Implement and enhance test automation frameworks to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines. Execute automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects, performance issues, and areas for improvement. Work closely with developers to reproduce and debug issues found during testing, providing detailed reports and recommendations. Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of the software development process. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and best practices in test automation and incorporate them into our testing processes. Required Skills and Qualifications Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role, with a focus on creating automated testing scripts. Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#, with experience in writing clean, maintainable code. Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium WebDriver, Appium, TestNG, JUnit, or similar. Experience with API testing and familiarity with tools like Postman or RestAssured. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and experience with tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail. Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Clearance Requirements This role requires the hired candidate to go through public clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is a must to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship.
