The ideal candidate will possess 2-3 years of relevant experience in a law firm, specifically in private offerings, general venture capital, and tech company corporate transactions. The candidate should have a keen interest in and passion for crypto blockchain technology and businesses, superior academic credentials and exceptional communication skills.Duties:Advise clients on legal issues related to blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and digital assets.Assisted with structuring, negotiating, and documenting private offerings and venture capital transactions.Provide legal counsel on corporate governance and compliance matters related to blockchain and cryptocurrency businesses.Conducted due diligence and drafted related corporate transaction documents.Stay up-to-date with evolving blockchain and cryptocurrency regulations and ensure compliance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide comprehensive legal support for blockchain and crypto projects.Represent clients in regulatory matters before federal and state agencies.Conducted legal research and analysis on legal issues related to blockchain and cryptocurrency.Requirements:2-3 years of corporate law experience in a major law firm.Experience with or a demonstrated keen interest in crypto blockchain technology and businesses.Membership to the State Bar of DC.Excellent academic credentials.Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.Highly motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of DC.Skills:Strong understanding of blockchain technology and cryptocurrency markets.Proficiency in corporate law, particularly in private offerings and venture capital transactions.Superior legal research and analytical skills.Excellent organizational and project management abilities.Ability to effectively communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.Strong negotiation and drafting skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Job Location:Washington, D.C.Benefits:Elective health benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.Robust mental well-being benefits.Child, family, elder, and pet care benefits.Short- and long-term disability benefits.Health savings account (with applicable medical plan) and flexible spending accounts.Long-term care insurance.401K program.Compensated time off through the Flexible Time Off program.Generous parental leave benefits.Paid holidays.
