The ideal candidate will manage a full caseload of Negligence cases, handling all aspects from inception to resolution with a focus on client satisfaction and successful outcomes.Job Duties:Handle a full caseload of Negligence cases, from opening new files to creating litigation plansAutonomously manage a large volume of files, ensuring timely and efficient handlingConduct thorough reviews of incoming correspondence and medical recordsEngage in discovery processes, make court appearances, and actively participate in trialsMaintain exceptional client interaction throughout the legal processTravel to various commissions, courts, and conferences as neededRequirements:Demonstrated experience in handling Negligence cases of varying complexities (5+ years desired)Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with colleaguesMust be licensed in DC, VA, and/or MDEducation and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law schoolActive license to practice law in DC, VA, and/or MDSkills:Excellent communication and negotiation skillsProficient in legal research and writingAbility to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective strategiesStrong courtroom presence and trial advocacy skillsBenefits Offered:Competitive compensation structure with bonuses based on productionMedical, dental, and vision insuranceCompany-paid short-term/long-term disability and life insuranceGenerous PTO401kFlexible workspaceEngaging multi-discipline environment
