The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, with a strong emphasis on the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law, and will contribute to healthcare compliance and regulatory efforts.Duties:Analyze healthcare regulatory compliance issues, including those related to reimbursement and fraud and abuse.Provide legal counsel and support on healthcare compliance matters to clients.Handle payor audits and assist clients in responding to audit requests.Conduct research and investigations related to healthcare fraud issues.Draft and review legal documents and reports related to compliance matters.Assist with electronic discovery and document management in healthcare cases.Collaborate with senior attorneys and healthcare professionals to develop legal strategies.Requirements:2-5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory compliance.Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, including the False Claims Act, Antikickback statute, and Stark law.Analytical skills for assessing healthcare compliance issues.Experience in handling payor audits and healthcare fraud investigations.Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills.Strong communication and presentation abilities.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.Certifications:Active license to practice law in New York.Skills:In-depth knowledge of healthcare compliance laws and regulations.Legal research, analysis, and case strategy development.Strong written and verbal communication.Document review and electronic discovery skills.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.Ability to work independently and collaboratively.Organizational and time management skills.
