Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Program Protection Specialist to join our teamThe ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing program protection strategies to safeguard critical information, assets, and technologies from unauthorized access, disclosure, or exploitationLMI is a consultancy dedicated to improving the business of government, drawing from deep expertise in advanced analytics, digital services, logistics, and management advisory servicesEstablished as a private, not-for-profit organization in 1961, LMI is a trusted third party to federal civilian and defense agencies, free of commercial and political biasWe operate completely free of political and commercial bias, and we are entirely aligned with the goals of our clientsOur clients value our specialized services in logistics, intelligence, homeland security, health care, and energy and environment marketsWe believe government can make a difference, and we seek talented, hardworking people who share that convictionWe offer a generous compensation package with excellent benefits that start the first day of employmentBusiness casual dress, flex time, and tuition reimbursement are a few of our many work-life benefits available to our employeesResponsibilities--- Develop and implement program protection plans, policies, and procedures in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.--- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to program assets and information.--- Design and implement security controls and countermeasures to mitigate identified risks and vulnerabilities.--- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate program protection measures into project plans and processes.--- Provide guidance and support to project teams on security best practices and compliance requirements.--- Conduct security education and awareness training for employees and contractors.--- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of program protection measures and recommend improvements as needed.--- Stay informed about emerging threats and technologies in the field of program protection and securityQualifications--- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.--- Minimum of 5 years of experience in program protection, information security, or a related field.--- Strong understanding of program protection principles, methodologies, and best practices.--- Experience with risk assessment, vulnerability analysis, and security control implementation.--- Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NIST SP 800-160, DoD Instruction 5200.39).--- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.--- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CPP are preferred but not requiredTarget salary range: $86,000 - $150,000Final compensation will be determined by a variety of factors including but not limited to your skills, experience, education, and/or certifications.
