How will you make an impact? Reporting directly to the Total Rewards Manager, the Senior Payroll and Benefits Analyst is a brand-new position that will be responsible for full-cycle, bi-weekly, multi-state, and global payroll administration and execution. In addition, this role will lead health and welfare benefit plan design and administration, offering new and exciting recommendations, maintaining plan compliance, administrative requirements, and managing vendor relationships.This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional who has overseen and executed payroll, pay policies, and benefit programs. The Senior Payroll and Benefits Analyst must demonstrate the ability to use, rely on, correct, and evaluate data integrity as it applies to the integration between and application of core HR systems such as HRIS, ADP, and PlanSource. This role requires a strong customer service focus as the main point of contact for other members of the HR team, our employees, and all levels of management in the areas of payroll and benefits.This position will be an critical member of the Human Resources team and will work hybrid with a minimum of 2 days a week in our San Diego office. What will you do? Payroll Oversees accurate and timely end-to-end processing of bi-weekly domestic and monthly global payroll processing and record keeping. Prepares pre and post processing payroll and timekeeping reports and distributes to stakeholders for reconciliation and approval. Audit/reconcile time and attendance data organization-wide. Assists with identifying payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information and responding to inquiries via email or phone. Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping sensitive information confidential. Other duties as assigned. Benefits Ability to be resourceful and creative in providing solutions for the client to help control costs while continuing to offer competitive options. Assist in training new employees and help to develop and maintain team processes. Plan and Execute Day-to-day administration of enrollment and eligibility for new hires, qualified life events and separations. Assist with reviewing and analyzing data around ACA. Expertise explaining employee benefits by conducting meetings; preparing written and graphic announcements and explanations; responding to requests. Develops, conducts, and participates in a variety of presentations to inform and educate management and employees about changes to benefit plans, administrative practices and legislated requirements and programs. Other duties as assigned. How will you get rewarded? Compensation and Benefits Salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 salary(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with industry data.) Education and Experience Requires a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or other related field. Requires 5+ years of relevant Payroll and/or Benefits experience. Knowledge of laws and regulations as they apply to payroll procedures and health and welfare benefit programs. A combination of education, training and related experience may meet requirements. Preferred Qualifications ADP Workforce Now Payroll experience strongly preferred.
