The candidate will be taking and defending expert and witness depositions. Will be drafting original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters. Drafting discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties. Developing client relationships through oral and written communication. Preparation for trial, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, witness lists. Must be licensed in California. Experience in billable work environment essential. Should have Juris Doctor degree from a top law school. Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail needed. This firm is a proven leader in innovative, aggressive case management in complex, high-exposure matters on behalf of major corporations; the firm's practice areas include commercial, construction, and environmental litigation as well as product liability. The firm's three California offices have considerable experience defending complex, multi-million dollar lawsuits at all stages of litigation.
