We are seeking an experienced and quality-driven automotive technician to fill an open position in our car dealership’s service department. Our ideal candidate will be confident running diagnostics equipment to identify and complete automotive repairs to electrical and software systems. Responsibilities: • Create protocols for tracking diagnostic tests and repairs, acquiring necessary technical manuals, and more throughout our dealerships• Facilitate customer satisfaction and repeat business by following all manufacturer specifications for vehicle systems repairs• Explain automotive systems issues to customers to ensure a clear, transparent repair process• Perform routine maintenance, as needed, like checking fluid levels, rotating tires, and oil changes• Examine all vehicle systems such as the air conditioning, engine, transmission, and brake systems with a step-by-step approach Qualifications: • High school diploma or GED is required• Automotive Service Excellence /ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers /SAE certification is preferred• Stellar customer service and communications skills are mandatory• Completion of a certified post-secondary training program is mandatory; an associate degree is ideal Compensation: $20 - $25 hourly About Company: At Galaxy Toyota, we see ourselves more as part of the community rather than just another car dealership; after all, we’ve been helping people with their automotive needs for over 50 years.
